Mobile Planetarium Pricing
and Reservations
The Large S&SA Mobile Planetarium requires an indoor air-conditioned floor space at least 20 feet x 24 feet, a 14-foot ceiling height, and a nearby electrical outlet. We can fit up to 45 elementary students or 30 adults in the large dome at one time.
Our Small S&SA Mobile Planetarium requires an indoor air-conditioned floor space at least 16 feet x 20 feet, a 9-foot ceiling height, and a nearby electrical outlet. We can fit up to 30 elementary students or 20 adults in the small dome at one time.
Planetarium Shows are recommended for ages 3 & up.
Younger children are only allowed if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Schools, Libraries and Non-Profit Organizations
Effective Starting November 1,st 2022
2 hours (3 /40 min presentations) $400
Half Day = 3 hours (4 /45-min presentations) $515
Full Day = 6 hours (8 / 45 min presentations) $860
+ Each Additional hour $115
Evening (After 6 PM) and Weekend Surcharge $85
Multi-Day Discount If Dome is left in place overnight $115
Note that both the Large and the Small Planetarium Domes are the same price per hour.

+ Additional mileage $1 per mile

We also offer a limited number of 30% discounts for Title One Schools. If you believe you qualify and want to apply, then please complete the Title One application information as requested HERE. Note that there are 3 documents
listed that need to be submitted to receive the Title One Discount.
