Mobile Planetarium & Science Activities

We bring the fun to you!

Welcome New Hampshire residents!

Stars and Science is expanding to the Lakes Region of New Hampshire! We run science outreach activities throughout the community. We have a mobile planetarium, a telescope for stargazing and for solar viewing, plus a number of hands-on science activities. We are available for schools (public and private), preschools, libraries, churches, homeschoolers, and public events throughout the Lakes Region and beyond.

Lucia Brimer will be your host in NH. Nearly all of the same programs and options will be available in NH as have been available in Central TX. Click on the links above to find out more about what we offer. There are a few differences:

  • For now, only the large mobile planetarium dome will be available.

  • For stargazing and solar viewing, Lucia's 8" Newtonian telescope will be available.

  • A few science activities may not be available. Please check before filling out Science Activity Reservation Form.

  • Note that Lakes Region customers have their own reservation forms. The address that the mileage will be computed from is:

542 Sanborn Road, Sanbornton, NH 03269

  • This is a seasonal service that will only be available  when Lucia is in the area. In general, I am in NH for all or parts of December, January, and February.  I always return in the summer months of July and August. You can send me an email to get the exact dates I will be there.

  • Please note, however, that most of our planetarium shows and activities are also available virtually, via Zoom or other platforms. All virtual programs are available year-round!
