Experience the wonders of the night sky from inside our Discovery Dome Mobile Planetariums. We will bring one of our two inflatable domes to your location, along with a trained astronomy educator. See the stars, the Moon and the planets day or night, rain or shine. We have programs for  adults that cover modern-day astronomy including galaxies, stellar evolution from nebulas to supernovas and black holes, plus latest information on planets, spacecraft, and space travel. The mobile planetarium is available to everyone including educational institutions, libraries, non-profits and private organizations.

Our Mobile Planetarium utilizes a portable theater and a state of the art digital projection system. Each dome is 18 feet in diameter on the inside, with a footprint of about 24 feet diameter, and is 13 feet high. This is more than large enough for an entire average sized class to enter, yet portable enough to be deployed easily to the entire Region XIII area and beyond. We can seat up to 45 children or 30 adults for each show.

 

 

We offer a wide variety of Mobile Planetarium Programs of both live presentations and premier international planetarium educational videos. We even have biology-themed programs.
